ESPN reporting that Kevin Williams of the Vikings has been suspended for the first two games of the season which puts Ballard in a prime position for a starting spot of the Vikings defensive line.

Clayborn & Klug are likely starters too.

Does anyone ever remember any college team having 3 guys on a DL moving on the the pros and becoming first year starters in the NFL all in the same season?

I'm not sure where to go to check such a thing but I wouldn't think it has happened too much, if ever.

What did they give up, 266 rushing yards to Minnesota?

Man that just annoys the hell out of me. Not because they lost or I have a deep hate for Minnesota but just because there is no way that should ever have happened.
 
Line up the same guys, in the same vanilla defense, with completely inexperienced guys behind them, and ask the experienced guys to only protect their gap, while you expect the inexperienced guys to make plays.

Recipe for failure.

2010 was about saving a spot for Norm by not giving D coordinator responsibilities to anyone. Basically sent the D out with a plan for failure.
