This was a heartbreaking loss. Horner falls down while trying to stop the game winning three. I remember Alford benching the starters the next game because of this loss. But wow look at the names: Horner, Pierce, Huluska, Thomas, hanson, Brunner. Iowa starts the game up 14-4.

If Woodbury plays like Brunner did in the post, he'll be unstoppable. Brunner was so tough.

That team was going to be really good until you know who went insane. Didn't they almost beat UNC in a tourney that year?

The second incident was really the back breaker IMO, had it not happened I think Alford would have gone on to have two really good teams in a row and could have won the fans back.
