I was thinking about this and remember Stanzi was known as "Rick 6" for his junior(?) season. Were they boneheaded plays, predictable routes that were jumped, tipped balls, some of each? Just don't remember, but was thinking about this as the game went on today. Rick always seemed to come back from them, though.

Stanzi threw a bunch of horrible , inexcusable picks his JR year. I mean missing his receivers by a mile and right to a defender. But he also won 11 games that year and he had much fewer picks his Sr year. Stanzi was not the problem in 2010.

One of my complaints right here. I know the pass pro wasn't great, but where in God's name was the PA Pass in the second half? We were getting just enough on the ground that they would have bit on something, but it seemed to disappear.

Very good point and Sargent was getting good yards in the 2nd so PAction should have been used a few times, it was but maybe not enough. After PSU gave up 222 yards on the ground to Indiana I thought we would attack there better.

Ricky would throw an out route vs man coverage and it was rick 6ed every time.

Thanks. Honestly couldn't remember how/why there were the pick 6's. I knew it was the year we won a bunch of games, but that he had the moxie to come back from it.
