I'm quite familiar with this family. They just wanted their son to be the best at everything he does. Really no big deal. However, they have a daughter named "Minnie" who has quite the inferiority complex.
I worked at a telemarketing company in high school for a short while. You would always have to look at the name before you make a call, just to make sure it's easy to pronounce. Well one time I glanced at the name and saw it was easy but noticed the last name was Dick. It was chuckle funny but not haha funny so I made the call. When a girl answered, I looked at the name again and said "may I speak with Minnie Dick". I lost my shit. True story.

I used to work for a drug store and at times I would help out in the pharmacy. One day I was working the register with a line of people not happy they had to wait. So, a guy steps up and says "prescription: last name is Head" I grabbed the prescription and, yep, his first name was Richard. I barely kept from laughing out loud or even smiling, but I sort of felt sorry for the guy.

I don't know that I think Duggan is a husker lean. I personally believe that he's Iowa's to lose, but that he's do his homework should Iowa not be a good fit, i.e. pedestrian offense.

I get the feeling Max goes to a school that doesn’t run a pro style system. I think he wants to be in a dual threat system that takes advantage of his running skills.
If I were opposing schools I’d point to AJ Derby, McNutt, Boyle, Cook and say Iowa isn’t really interested in a running QB.

I sort of have the same feeling. But, I feel like Iowa would be acceptable if the offense opened up. Pro-style offenses can still throw it around the yard if they choose to. We shall see.

And I think it remains to be seen. bf is flirting with read option with NS this season. But, if Duggan pans out to match his hype and talent, he's probably a NFL'er, so that does give Iowa a shot, in my opinion.

Many years ago, the leading scorer in Iowa girls basketball was, wait for it, Fonda Dicks. Parent should be deported. Kid was a fantastic basketball player.

Seems to be unlucky or injury prone. Both starting quarterbacks in this game were unable to finish the game due to injury. I believe it was Ankeny Centenial that won and will advance to play Dowling in the state semi final. Don't know how seriously the Ankeny quarterback is hurt but hard to imagine he will be 100% in a weeks time. Dowling struggled with Johnston last night. Johnston is obviously a good team, but Dowling has showed they are human after all. Don't know if Dowling has some injuries or not but late in the season some good teams have hung around with them.

if it requires pins, rods, etc., then could be. but generally, isn't a bone break a lot less of a future issue than a tendon or ligament surgery?
