#16 Iowa @ #21 msu Game Thread

Iowa with a tremendous run to finish out the first half, and lead 43-37!

Megan Gustafson now has 21 points. She’s nearing the men’s scoring record held by Roy Marble to have the record for both teams.
 
Lisa seriously needs to work very hard on getting a replacement for Lexie before mid season sets in. She has bad juju that follows her around.

How can you say tremendous run with that mo killer foul to end the half?
 
That was just a terrible call, the msu player was moving forward into the Iowa defender. It should have been called an offensive foul. One missed call does little to stop the Iowa momentum.

It was a bad call. Probably should have been a no call, but the ref was anticipating what might happen. Megan getting fouled a lot inside and not getting calls. We need to rebound and hustle after loose balls. Need some of that Ollinger scrappiness.
 
Iowa has nobody they can count on besides Megan for scoring. What do they work on in practice. They better start finding some other shooters for this team.
 
Msu #4 also with some dirty fouls, they are resorting to their traditional thuggery because they can’t match Iowa’s talent.
