I like Jon can't stand people casting stones at the S&C program at Iowa as well as our head coach. In my opinion this is a simple situation to assess. Do I like 13 players going to the UIHC for treatment due to working out? No. Do I think when in athletics you are expected to try and push your body past where your own mind thinks it can go? Yes. I love the sport of wrestling for this very reason. Tom Brands and the UI wrestling program do this on a daily basis and look at the results. I was a wrestler myself and can relate to what was being told to these players during the workout. Some think it is abusive to ask them if they are going to quit or not which I find rediculious. Go watch and Iowa wrestling practice (any wrestling practice for that matter) and let me know what you think! The point of having someone there to push you past your minds own thought is what makes teams/individuals better than the opponent. For the people that think KF should have came back as soon as he found out is crazy as well. I trust what is he doing as he has a proven record of being a high charactor person from the day he got to Iowa. Pat Forde is what is wrong with America today. I would like to know if he played any sports or I should say I would like to know if he has ever done anything requiring his body to go beyond his mind. If he has kids he will be disappointed because god for bid he would want someone that might push them physically or mentally to become better. Pat Forde is a tool and I wish I could see him face to face some day and ask questions. People these kids play D1 football and if they aren't prepaired for stuff like this shame on them. I think what Pat Angerer said was perfect, don't mean to call out the kids but many have done this before without incident.
