24-14 lead going into half and getting the ball back, and with 17:49 left in the game (2:49 left in the 3rd) KF/GD is running what can only be described as plays to run the clock out.

The biggest victory for this staff tonight (because it certainly wasn't having the D ready to play) was getting Minnesota to burn a time out.

I loved that stanford lost, Baylor lost and cowherd should basically jump off a building.. But we completely validated his opinion that were not a top 15 team.

For the first time in history, the Hawks have scored 30+ points in four consecutive conference games. However, the anti-Ferentz crowd will find a reason to fire him. I'm surprised there have been no complaints about Iowa not clocking the ball on the final drive of the first half.

Really almost 5 in a row. Missed extra point was the only reason they scored 29 against Illinois.

OR could it be that every team is gunning for Iowa and going to do everything in their power to upset a top 10 team. If Iowa converts a few of those 3rd and 3 downs this is not an issue.

It was a weird night on 3rd down. Iowa went 10 of 15 on 3rd down which is outstanding, yet most of the ones they didn't get were 3rd and short. CJ was money on 3rd downs over 5 yards. Go figure.

Iowa only threw one pass in the 3rd quarter which was a bit strange being that CJ was playing so well. Outside of that, can't complain about the offense.
