No but the point is, wherever Trump campaigned, his numbers went way up, whereas wherever Hillary campaigned that wasn't really the case. Had he campaigned in California, he still wouldn't have won the state but he could have driven his popular vote tally up. But the the rules of the game are determined by the electoral college.

Bragging in a post about your candidate winning the popular vote, even though they lost the electoral vote, is like bragging about your football team having 50 more yards than your opponent, even though your team lost 27-20.

The swing states were all that mattered and the only places the candidates campaigned including Iowa, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina. Trump kicked Hillary's butt in all these states and so won.

Glad you luv my posts. Welcome to the fan club. I'm bi-coastal. Lived in Cali for 20 years. You obviously don't know anything about its demographics or voting system. When you get a driver's license you're automatically registered to vote. And the state legislature has been giving out driver's licenses to illegals for years (they also get all social services including free medical care - hospitals aren't allowed to ask people in the ER if they are citizens and the state college system gives them preferential tuition treatment). The state punishes companies that contract to build the wall. Millions of illegals, it's a sanctuary state don't ya know.

There were 3 republicans who ran against Trump . . . they all lost. Only 5 states have a Gov and Legislature that are Hill's party. 32 states are run by Trump's party.

What I got from that was yada yada talking point, fake story about living in California heard on Rush, yada yada. Let's revisit this in 2018 when the adults are back in charge.

I'm not much of a political person, and I tend to lean right, but Trump and his whole administration are an embarrassment to this country.

I'm not actually a huge fan of his either. But was just correcting misconceptions another poster was posting here about the other side.
 
Hillary is a hideous person, and a self serving liar like her husband, that's why she isn't president...she didn't even show up in Wisconsin, once, making her a hideous candidate surrounded by incompetent "experts" A buffoon like Trump beat her...there is your answer.

The main point is last year Iowa had a hideous passing game...Iowa needs some receivers now or they will be more inept against good teams than normal...and this is even more hideous. Answers, coach?

I don't know much about the trial... but the more weird you are, and the louder you claim you are a victim, the higher chance you have of receiving money, and lots of it, since everyone is afraid of the mob....

We are a country of enablers and excuse makers...fake leaders abound

Or it could like bragging about 'winning' the 2nd half of a game you still lost.....
 
At the risk of some hate. Why is it hard to believe that an AD that put forth a completely unexplained contact with a male head coach who after nearly 20 years can't produce a passing game with 2 with NFL quarterbacks and allows a male coach to use about every imaginable word and throw big tantrums...all on TV.................................why is it hard to imagine that firing coaches and administrators for things other than job performance didn't occur.? Regardless of one's opinions about homosexuality, there are laws regarding this.

I have no idea whether it did or didn't happen.

I also know that Generation Y is very supportive of homosexual lifestyles whether participating or not. Minimally this publicity isn't terrific for Iowa Hawkeye sports. Then again, a terrible passing game isn't great for Iowa football either.
 
I am a talented HS wide receiver...I am considering Iowa as the place to go to hone my skills so I can reach my NFL dream (fiction)...there's your answer...

Gen Y is very accepting of themselves...

A lot of it depends if Greisbaum was insulting, threatening, and berating her players while Fran, who does yell at his players and use profanity, doesn't insult, threaten or berate them. That is an important distinction.

Those are good points. This is a big mess though. Wish it would go away. Afraid it isn't. There is a difference between generations at what constitutes insulting/threats.
