I give the hawks this much of a chance to win next week.

Why?

1. Obviously they aren't playing well today, but Vandy has shown 0 improvment over last year, maybe even digression. Maybe it's due to the OL, but still he hasn't made a good throw today.


2. ISU has a QB that can run, but is much better with the throw.

3. ISU has good RBs and skill players


I just don't see how Iowa can win. I'll be honest, and I hate it, but I just don't see it. The D is better than I thought it would be, and really only had 1 really really bad play, but the O is light years from where it needs to be.


I'm writing this before the NIU game is over, but I dont' see it no matter the out come. I have flipped to the ISU game a lot and they look good, though it is Tulsa, but Jantz has been pretty good up to this point.
 
I don't think Iowa wins, especially if it resembles the team that played today. I hate to say it as much as anyone else, but ISU isn't a bad team, they're actually decent. I think Iowa has a long road to climb.

Is it a overreaction, yes, but ask me next Friday and I will say I don't think Iowa can beat ISU this year.
 
Don't be such a Debbie downer. I'd give the Hawkeye's a 50/50 shot of winning at worst. It helps that it is a home game. I can understand the pessimism, but the degree I don't understand at this point.
 
I give them a 93% chance to win...different week different team. lots of players had to get their feet wet today and pulled it out in the end. defense was pretty awesome today besides one bad play by Morris aand donahue.

Donahue? After his eligibility ran out as a punter, did he get to come back for four more years to play safety? :D
