Seth Davis also said "No chance" when asked if Iowa would make the NCAA tourney in 2004 (?) after the buzzer beater loss to Wisconsin in the BTT semis. It's scorched in my memory as the moment I realized he was a complete dip.

Iowa State has 13 in the same timeframe, with one elite eight and three sweet 16 appearances. They achieved some of that with a coach who was eventually fired for (allegedly)...
Some of you are off the charts. The guy has been on staff for a long time, and filled a vacated spot "officially." He's basically in charge of the Web site.

Slow news day.
I was thinking more along the lines of if Iowa had closed out in 2 of them, maybe even one of them (Ind,MSU,Minn,Wisky) they'd be a lock right now and not knocking on the door.
Learn the ropes? I'm chiding someone for being ridiculous. You can't say "Well, if only we'd won half the games we lost.." and not get mocked, because that's a really silly thing to say.
Why won't the committe take 8? They have taken that many from a conference before. Shoot, the Big East got 11 teams in one year. I know - there's 16 teams there - but there's no hard and fast "HURRR we won't take 8 because fairness" rule.
