My biggest concern is guard play. To improve the running game with the current backs, Iowa needs mauling, nasty guards. I think Linderbaum and the tackles will be major strengths, but Iowa seems to struggle with the run when just average at the guard spots. I’d love to see Banwart and the twins...

Every loss so far was to a team with a better QB. Based on that trend, Illinois is a win and N a loss.

I think we all knew Iowa’s D would play well enough for Stanley to win the game if he played well. He didn’t. He had a horrible game and he knows it. Having said that, I have to assume the POS who made the above post has been banned. If not, I’d like to know why.
