When the wheels come off, Kirk tends to get defensive, blaming, and insular, the opposite of what is needed.

How sad, that a season which appeared so promising has vanished before our eyes again.

10 years ago, I would have agreed. But ever bince my knee surgery, I've lost a step and Ghost doesn't post here anymore so I don't know who could possibly play middle linebacker.

Ghost is, at best, a cheerleader. You wouldn't play, because you're too busy fawning over Bama and NW. Plus, you're simply not good enough.

I'm just frustrated.
When was our last pick 6? When was the last kick return for a score? When was the last long running play?
I get that we always run the same plays, same coverage, but we used to see those things.
That's on the players.

Then I wonder why we ran trick plays earlier this year, but not since. I wonder how a 2 min offense looks no different than the opening drive.
I wonder why we can't have nice things.

We absolutely have to win the last two. A bowl game win would sure help as well.
The players need it. The coaches need it. The fans need it.
They need to just go out and play absolutely nasty.
As much as we have gotten jobbed by the refs and ended up losing, these players need to be cut some slack and let them just absolutely piss pound Illinois and Nebraska.
They need to take all that frustration out in the next couple games.
