So Bielema accepts the AK job (shock) and Diaco gets the Broyles Award (no shock). Things appear to line up nicely for Diaco being seriously considered for the Wisky gig. Given the Iowa connections in the WI program, I would be very surprised if BD isn't only a candidate, but the eventual choice.

Wow... is it just me, or does our third team look better than our starters under Lick? Not saying this to bring "that" up again, but rather to marvel at just how far we've come.

Read my lips: The officials did not cost Iowa the game. Failure to do anything right defensively, offensively (save Weisman) and on special teams lost Iowa this game.

At this point, this will either be one of the worst wins in modern Iowa fb history, or one of the worst loses.

Come on crowd. Unbalanced with the penalties or not, IA has earned most of theirs, and bottom line--the refs are NOT the reason we are losing this game....that last play as further evidence.

Note to Iowa secondary and LB. When you see a guy in a white jersey running downfield, that means the QB might throw the ball to him. I guess watching JVB in practice so much has confused our D into believing that QBs don't complete passes downfield or across the middle.
