What I've always noticed is how fast the Iowa guys start playing when get to the NFL, the first season. That tells you how much they are prepared coming out of Iowa. That is why certain NFL teams like Iowa guys, IMO.

I mean we had fakes back in the day. Get someone who kind of looks like you gives you there ID. It's totally rampant now as the kids just upload a pic of themselves to a website and have one sent to them in the mail. Pretty much every freshman in college has one now.

..... that Kirk Ferentz is going to be 70yrs old this year. It's just baffling after knowing he was relatively young when he took over the Hawkeye program. He's still in great shapes. Just hard to believe.

Chris Klieman, Kansas St. head coach is retiring after this season. He played at UNI and coached North Dakota St. prior to Kansas St. Kind of surprising.

Yea, he didn't really move my needle when I watched the pressers around the Iowa game. He seemed a bit too soft spoken, kind of like a fish out of water. But, I acknowledge I'm not in that program or locker room so don't really know. Seems like a good guy though.
