Riley came in a year early at the age of 17 IIRC. I has taken him a while to improve. Like a lot of bigs, he is gaining traction as he gets more experience. He could have a breakout year next year.

There really aren't any bad teams in the field of 68. Some of the automatic qualifying teams don't measure up but Richmond had a pretty solid team that year and won their conference, IIRC. As someone else said, 12 seeds beat 5 seeds every year. Wasn't that shocking.
