I don't think Iowa is actively recruiting Cesar. Iowa was on his list before he committed to WKU, and therefore had been eliminated. I believe I read that he wanted to be closer to home.

Shooting guard, but I think with his defensive capabilities he would be called upon to put a lid on the opposing teams best guard. Not to say that he doesn't have a nice offensive arsenal, but I think he is primarily being recruited for his defensive prowess.

2011 combo guard Charles McKinney of Quality Education in North Carolina has Iowa in his top four along with DePaul, Oregon State and Bradley. McKinney is originally from the Chicago area, but has spent the last two seasons at QE. Charles will decide late next month.

He is more around 6'9/6'10 and he is more of a point forward. He can play in the paint or out on the perimeter (currently shooting 41% from 3) and is very athletic. If the Hawkeyes are fortunate enough to land him he would make an immediate impact.

After Iowa pulled Coleman's scholly it seemed like every other high-major that had interest backed off as well. His remaining offers are mostly low-major. The Hawkeyes do have an offer out to a east coast combo guard named Eli Carter though. The kid is prepping this year at Brewster Academy.

Agau was there on the 23rd when he received and offer from Iowa. It would be interesting if he came back the next weekend on the 30th, if it was him. I have read that when he was there on the 23rd he was all decked out in Hawkeye gear and was getting along very well with Fran.
