I would love for somebody to hit Martinez hard enough to rattle his teeth, but he's really good at avoiding those hits. He is so important to the Nebby offense we should put a quick spy on him. He's usually their leading rusher.
It nags at me that this was another opponent that seemed to get to the rim any time they wanted. With our added quickness this year, I thought that would improve. Definitely a cause for worry about this year's team.
I mentioned this before. There are no easy games on our schedule. Even Nebby is tough in their own stadium. We'll have to bring our best effort to win any one of these games.
All the guys on the BTN pregame show were picking Nebraska by at least 2 touchdowns. I can't figure out why they keep hanging onto the Husker train. You'd think they are getting bonuses for picking Nebby.
We could lose to Wisky, Minn, and Nebby, or we could win all of them. There's a huge swing in records there. Nothing can be taken for granted in this division. Look at Illinois' resurgence.
Ok, generally this is the right thing to do, but we will certainly create a college football world of haves and have nots. Iowa will be in the have nots category and everybody here will bitch because we can't get good players.
He may be running in practice, but doing nothing that requires cutting and putting sideways pressure on the injury. Game time basketball is a lot more stressful and puts all kinds of harsh stresses on the legs and ankles. We'll have to see how it plays out, but I would hate to see him risk...
4 drops by Ragaini and still no Martin or Lockett receptions. Worst game of the year for Nico. MUST ADJUST DURING THE GAME. OK, maybe Nico practiced well all week, but if you are stinking up the joint on game day, adjust.
