week off. Project our won/lost for the remainder of the year and which bowl we could potentially land in.

Lose to Bucky and 1 more, so 8-4.

Puts us behind Bucky and the Goofs in the West, and OSU, PSU, and Mich in the East.

OSU in the CFP, so Hawks go to the 5th place B1G bowl.

Bonuses for everybody!!

I'm hearing Iowa cannot go to these bowls: Gator, Outback, or Pinstripe so that helps narrow it down. A lot rides on the game against Wisconsin, beat them and you probably wind up in the upper tier of Big Ten bowls (Holiday or Citrus) lose and they wind up in one of the bottom 4 (Red Box, Quick Lane, First Responder, or Armed Forces).

I'm predicting Iowa loses to Wisconsin and probably one of the other games to finish 8-4. I don't see Iowa slipping all the way down to First Responder or Armed Forces unless they lose the rest of their games. So my guess is the Red Box Bowl in Santa Clara against the Pac 12. For those like me who get confused about all these Bowl games and their name changes, this is the former Foster Farms Bowl.

Edit - I'm sure it's the Outback and not the Citrus that Iowa cannot go to.

We could lose to Wisky, Minn, and Nebby, or we could win all of them. There's a huge swing in records there. Nothing can be taken for granted in this division. Look at Illinois' resurgence.

I see us going 3-1 and finishing 9-3. Probably lose to Wiscy and end up 2nd in the West. Outback here we come. They love us there.

10-2, trip to Indy. Sorry to ruin your Black Panther Party Buckeyes, but you'll have to try to get your revenge next year in Columbus. Trip to Pasadena. No Christian McCaffrey to contend with this year. And some people will still bitch that the Hawks should have beaten Michigan and Penn State and been in the CFP.

I think we will be 11-0. UM and PSU will get put on probation and have their wins vacated before the season ends. So we'll be 11-0 and slide into the playoffs.

I'll accept full responsibility for doing this! I'll be bitching about this no matter which bowl Iowa ends up in.

Friggin offense!!!!

Why can't we go to those bowls? The only one we can't go to is the Outback because we've reached our cap for the last 5 yrs

Iowa has been to the Gator and Pinstripe in the past 5 years but they haven't been to the Citrus Bowl since "the catch" so I have no idea why Iowa isn't eligible for that bowl game.

I saw it listed here (see the chart): https://www.offtackleempire.com/201...tball-playoff-ohio-state-penn-state-wisconsin

1 persons opinion, so maybe they are wrong.

Edit - I see the Outback is listed right after, so maybe the writer has the incorrect line.

Can we get the Dollar General trophy?

Agree if Iowa finishes 7-5 or 8-4, then it's the Redbox.

If they finish 9-3, it's the Holiday

If they finish 10-2 or 10-3, it's the Citrus.

All I know is that if it's the Redbox or Holiday, my son who lives in the Bay Area is going to be a happy camper.

The playoff is all that really matters. Everything else is an exhibition after-season games

And it will all look the same on my 75” whether it’s in Florida or California or anywhere in-between.

Mark Repchak from Florida Citrus Sports spoke at our lunch yesterday. Citrus Bowl would LOVE Iowa. Minnesota, Wiscy and scUM have all been more recently. They pretty much expect the B1G West rep to get rolled by O$U, and if P$U goes 11-1, they expect them to go to a NY6 bowl. If that happens, they pretty much "default" to West rep unless they have 8 wins or less.
