I'd agree with that. It's hard to know how the system would work without a QB whose only decision making was: 1st read or check down. There were too many times that there was a WR wide open that JVB either ignored or underthrew when he didn't ignore them. I'm not sure GD's system consisted of...

You should never be in that many close games unless you're playing ranked opponents every week. Having, seemingly, no desire to score when you have the ball is a complete disregard for the objective of football: winning.

Won't change the clock management issues, personnel decisions, players not knowing their assignment, etc. Would change the routes run. That's about it.
