I actually think it would be exciting and potentally very lucrative to have Texas join the Big Ten. And I love it how they're apparently a bit like Penn St who thought 'they would dominate the Big Ten'. Funny how the Penn St fans don't talk much smack to Iowa Hawkeye FB fans, these days!

Considering Tucker's less than 2 year debacle in Iowa City, there is nothing that MelroseHawk's friend said here that should surprise ANYONE. Tucker has been given more than his share of 'benefit of the doubt'.

Especially in the first half, Iowa's tough D, not allowing back door baskets, nor many 3's from NW, allowed Iowa to collect a nice Big Ten W. Very good game plan by our staff and Congrats to the Hawkeyes, as they deserved to be rewarded with this win.

I'm going to step-in here and say that Julian Vandevelde, a 2 year starter at Iowa, will be a very solid lineman to build this offensive line in 2009. Actually, I think Julian will get a shot in the NFL. Moves well for a big guy and very smart guy.

for Iowa's Defense in 2009, being the best in the nation, certainly best in the Big Ten. In reviewing the final Big Ten stats, I noticed the Ohio St total defense was like 1 yard ahead of Iowa..........278 per game to 279. However, unfortunately at times, our offense was very underwhelming...
