I noticed that Fran had Jok guarding Maryland's best player, Dez Wells, when Iowa opened up Sunday's game with their man-to-man. I thought Jok did quite well on D -- in all the schemes. Wells was very frustrated and he didn't get many shot attempts, and I think Jok had a lot to do with it...

Coach will do what he thinks is right, with a lot of input from his assistants, and the flow of the game, and the foul issue, and the hot players, and the players that are frustrated, and so on.

He's a tall clumsy guy who does a lot of face guarding, and has over-active hands that cannot be properly controlled because of poor coordination.

Hopefully Josh is back for Minnesota. He'll see action in every game the rest of the season. He's a great team player and contributor.

The teams are very closely matched stats-wise. I noticed the Terps have more turnovers than assists. Maybe Iowa can force them into a lot of turnovers and get some easy break aways.

If I recall, thr Hawkeyes handled Wells pretty well in that game. I think he's the type of player who can get frustrated easily and then screw up with forced shots, turnovers, and fouls. Go Hawks!
