What I saw was, sloppy tackling. I saw their offensive coaches out smarting our defensive coaches. I saw their defensive line sack our QB 5 times with 10 minutes to go in the third quarter. But what I saw and liked the most, "We didn't quit" and we "WON".

Never was a Marion fan. Why? Montell only did what Montell wanted to do. If he felt like wrestling then he would. If he didn't then he wouldn't. He had all the potential to be a national champ. It all comes down to ATTITUDE.

There already is a dual champion and a team champion. You don't understand how awarding points would work?

Because the thought of combining never entered their mind?

How would points be distributed? I have a couple ideas. During a dual match at the national duals give the individual winner of each weight the same points you would give him in nationals depending on the win he had. Decision,major,techfall,pin. Or, whoever wins the dual championship then give...

If points were rewarded at the dual tournament and then carried over to the NCAA tournament, you wouldn't see much stalling at all.

I've got a good friend by the name of kevin jackson. Maybe he was talking about my friend.

Bottom line is. Just wasn't good enough.

I've looked at four different web sites plus the Sunday DesMoines Sports and what your saying looks about right. I can see the plus side to this but, I can see the negative side too.;)

In one of the tournaments this year, in freestyle, at 85kg, Lofthouse defeated, koepke,larson,isley,kolb,Hamlin, and trotman, before losing two close matches to Steinhaus. Now I know it's freestyle but, I'd say that was, hanging in there with the big boys. I'll agree with pumpdog20 when it comes...

I don't believe Gambrall can beat Lofthouse. I also think that adding a little more muscle and weight, properly, Lofthouse could move up to #184 and beat Gambrall. I quess what I'm getting at is that, I don't think Gambrall really cares. My thoughts. We will see.
