Donatell missed several tackles on Saturday because he wasn't big/strong/fast enough to get the job done. One in particular in the 1st half should have been a tackle in the backfield and he was reaching for the ball carrier like a baby reaching for his daddy. Donatell needs to sit.

I thought the D played better with Carl in the game. His size was more difficult to push around. Coop was getting pushed all over the field.

I'm with you HFN. I wish DJK nothing but success in the future. He was a team player and gave it his all during games for the Hawks 100% of the time. That is a more than can be said for some other Hawkeye players I have seen over the years.

Meyer is definitely going to be a very good player in a year or two. He has all the skills. Its just a case of of it taking time for him to further develop those skills and physically mature, imo.
