I would take Iowa -3.5. Denard is no longer Superman. We should be able to contain him and force him to make mistakes. I think we will win with a margin of victory similar to MSU's over Michigan.

If I had to I would bet that we would crack the top 10 before the OSU game. But it seems possible that a 9-1 Iowa team could be 11th or 12th.

Agreed. If Iowa doesn't get into the NC game, I would laugh my a$$ off if the Boise/TCU matchup happened. I just REALLY REALLY REALLY hope Nebraska loses at least 1 game this year and doesn't get to play in the NC game and I would absolutely love it if Iowa State beat them.

I agree, we want MSU and OSU to stay undefeated until they play us. I think MSU should get into the top 10 by the time we play them if they're undefeated, and OSU should stay #1, even if they don't blow everybody out.

Whatever skro. I never said it's the same offense as GT's or NU's offenses of the 90's. The root of the discussion was you said Nebraska doesn't have an option offense, I said it does. I'll repeat what Whammer said: "DEFINED BY THE OPTION PLAY" How are you still arguing this?

I refer you again to Nebraska's offensive coordinator Shawn Watson. If he says you're an option team, I'll take his word for it. And it's not conjecture, Norm Parker owns ALL offenses. That's a fact.

I never said that all those option offenses are the same. All I was trying to say is that the defensive genius named Norm Parker would have us prepared and we would shut down Nebraska's option offense, just like he had us prepared to shut down Georgia Tech's option offense. I wasn't trying to...

Norm would shut their ignorant option offense down just like we shut down Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl. Iowa vs. Nebraska would not be a close game.

How about Iowa vs. the Cornholes in the National Championship Game? We would destroy them and their fans would be devastated. It's still possible. I don't really have any interest in Arizona, they beat us when we played as poorly as we possibly could. I'm over it.
