Iowa in the past 20 games; we have lost by a total of 12 points in 4 games (last season). I think this shows a team that had struggled winning the close ones last year, and with a little growing up from those losses, we have learned to win the close ones this year.

I noticed this too. I think they all to often always take the opposite end of arguments as well (probably to make good TV). Maybe all of this "tension" is just made to make some good TV.

Man some people are losing lots of money this season betting against Iowa.

Except MSU has a few wins behind them. If I am correct, we got off a 3 game losing streak with the win over PSU. I agree though; it's fairly similar. Again though, it's a different set of players and different game.

I hate how it has to be "indisputable". The refs make a horrible call, and when it goes to reviewing it you can see it was a bad call but it's not "indisputable". It just bugs me when I see it. I do, however, think that it needs to stay. It is something that has improved the game as far as bad...

I agree, MSU has some nice YPG compared to us... but again, they seem as if they cannot finish their drives. Note the Wisconsin loss to OSU; they had the ball for almost 40 mins TOP and tons of yards but far from enough points to win. All that matters is the points, not so much the yards.

I think the better thing to think is that BOTH teams put it together and we get a nice smash-mouth football game to watch; and another close win by Iowa to help me with my goal of having a heart attack by my next birthday.
