Media Switch

Anyone else notice how this week the media is making the switch from dogging the hawks to complimenting the Hawks.

It seems to this reader that last week almost all media venues (outside of this state) were dogging us?

I will say, it's been a lot of fun reading nice things and see pitchers everywhere. I really hope the hawks can get through this game as I don't want all this entertainment to end...for perhaps years to come if the unthinkable can happen this year.

I'm not sure I've noticed much. They are getting talked about more, but they seem to be the easy pick for upset of the week by most. Same story different week.

That's a nice thought, but the media plays a big roll with who will be selected in the NC game, like it or not.

I think its pretty clear that you arent getting any respect when your 7-0 and ranked 6th in the nation, yet your an underdog to a 4-3 MSU team even if it is on the road. I would challenge anyone to find another top ten game with a similar setup where the undefeated team is the underdog.

I'd say the media has been dogging the Hawks even more this week...It seems like they keep saying they "Barely beat" or "had a tough time" with PSU and Wisc. but 10 point victories in the Big Ten is a solid margin of victory...
