I can't disagree with this "theory" but as always it makes the assumption that this staff did not inform potential recruits of the situation. Nothing out there for information leads me to believe KF operates this way. Not to mention KF is the O-line nugget for these recruits not morgan.

Yes because of course anything bad that happens has to do with the crappy coaching staff and their inabilities and not that another big time program came swooping in at the end? Of course anything good happening is just pure luck and the coaching staff is still crappy.

There it is..it took a little while but we linked recruiting to columbus and THE Ohio State with coaching personalities and being able to "Relate" to the kids these days. Love it......

Fire them all! Nobody has a clue what they are doing and everyone on here would make better decisions for all things related to the Hawkeyes. These boards do make for great entertainment that is fo sure.

The team also needs to learn to attain a better balance between fast breaking and securing defensive rebounds. All fast pace teams tend to have issues with defensive rebounding and we are no different.

Thanks for the football 101 lesson. Defense is key at Iowa.. Yep you are correct. I would guess that is true for a vast majority of football programs so I hope you let all of the fan bases know this to help them through their tough times of not getting 8 or 9 wins every season.

No...A pulled Hammy hurts BC's preparation (mentally and physically). Lack of practice, lack of explosiveness, lack of game shape and the confidence or lack thereof that is obtained by doing all of the above can really have an impact on a athlete.

Iowa does not need a change in offense. It is the philosophy of the staff that ruffles the feathers of the fan base. Fans want to see the spread out operate in space with 50 different formations offense and Kirk doesn't want that so here we are? You can run the multiple sets and spread teams...

Bryce had a good year last year and some issues (injuries/attitude/confidence) have caused an early season funk this year. Remember he was a last minute JUCO add that not many people wanted so it is unfair to expect him to be the second coming. I predict he will regain his starting role and...

Fran had indicated shortly after he got hired that he planned to coach a team that shot a lot more free throws than the opponent...Seems to be working a little better this year. Might not see it much in the B1G this year but the seeds have been sowed.

Ricky S. was 26-9 as a starter...But it was the defense and he had good players around him and we run a crappy offense and Boise St. plays good competition all the time and they could make it in any conference...and blah blah blah.....
