Hawkeye message boards (football and basketball) seem to NEVER have good news. But, like a good train-wreck, I can't seem to look away.

It is tough to come on here but as fans we like to keep informed as to the current events (good & bad) of our beloved Hawkeyes. Unfortunately shock jock liberal media types have flooded our airwaves for years and many Americans hope to have everyone fail rather than succeed. I think local sports & politics is just a microcosom of a national/federal degradation of the human spirit.

This is why we can't have nice things.
I know what OP means. I try to start some threads on fball strategy, x's and o's, big hustle plays, past and future performance.
I try to keep most threads and comments mostly positive but so much innuendo on what problems players might have without facts is hard to read.
But this site has the fringe element that actually thinks people in the Athletic Dept read this or would even think much about what we think.
Usually my main beef is with the offensive productivity and I wish they could do something to better it.
