I know how that goes as well. Our 07 team was supposed to be a top five class, we all know the story to that one as well. Sometimes I have to wonder if kids are given star rankings based on what schools are interested in them and not actually given based on performance.

Paper is the key word. I dont know what your guys experience is, but it seems more often than not these kids change their minds once a week. But by the looks of the way this class is shaping up that O-line could add a little pep to our step as we come into the Big10.

The other problem I see with this is, what if tOSU and Mich rise to the top head and shoulders above everyone else ala 80's and 90's? You could be potentially looking at seeing the Mich vs tOSU game twice every year for multiple years in a row. I dont think that would be very good for college...

Gotcha, I didnt think about that. This whole thing makes my head hurt. I suppose you could do the whole thing without divisions and just play a rotating schedule. It just looks much neater on paper with two 6 team divisions. LOL

You could do that, however without divisions you could potentially have two teams playing eachother twice in the same season. Once during the regular season and then once in the championship game. I think the Big10 will try to avoid that. There are going to be arguments made any way this...

It will definatley make for some interesting games. I cant imagine the story lines if somehow they both were to run the table this year. It would be a media frenzy.
