Yeah I definitely think ISU would win the Big Ten---I saw OSU play a number of times and I think ISU is much better.

I know this is on BTN, but I really appreciate the first half effort from the folks in this thread. I missed the first half so it was nice to have a little recap before play resumed. Hopefully the Hawks can clean things up soon.

Kachine Alexander: 17 points in 20 minutes.

Krei and Printy led the way with 22 points apiece. Kachine had 17 (pretty amazing for playing so few minutes) and Wahlin had 11. Printy only shot 33%, but her line was impressive: 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists. I still think Krei was the player of the game, though.

PSU hits a circus three with 7 seconds left, so the game will end 82-75 Hawks. On to MSU tomorrow!! Go Hawks.

Iowa's 11 threes ties a Big Ten tournament record, according to BTN guy. Pretty good considering the poor shooting early on.

BTN announcer says "the travelling call has become an epidemic" after Machado called for steps. Iowa definitely has gotten a little sloppy towards the end---much more like the first half than the second. Hopefully that doesn't carry over to tomorrow. Machado with a traditional 3-point-play...

Alexander finishes with 17 points. BTN graphic refers to her five fouls as a "disqualification". Haha. The replay showed some contact, but it was still pretty touchy. 73-64 with 2:30 left.

Kachine fouls out and is not happy with the call. I'm not sure where this officiating came from.

70-63 with four minutes left. Wahlin still sitting, but Kach has been kept in. Kachine hits the three! 73-63, ten point game again. Having Alexander in with four fouls is paying off, even if it's risky.

The refs have started to mess with the tempo the last couple of minutes. Alexander has 4 now and PSU is within 7. It's not over yet. Hopefully the Hawks step it up.
