If the guy has zero ties to Iowa City, which he did, I can understand his decision. That's all I'm saying. I think our program is better, no doubt. However, Iowa City cannot hold a candle to Nashville, it isn't even close. Vandy is a hell of a school too.

Good post and totally agree. It seems like we had a similar game at Minnesota, but came up a little short. I am hoping with having some time off leading up to the Rutgers game, they can rest and be ready. They will need to be sharp. Rutgers has beaten some solid teams at home this season.

It isn't the goal to play sh!t teams to get there. The point is to have a balanced non-con of tough opponents and cupcakes to get through it in solid fashion. We have done that this season.

Exactly right. The non-con is about balance. You play some tough games and some cupcakes. I would much rather come out of the non-con 11-2 than 8-5 or 9-4, especially given the brutal B10 schedule coming up.

I think 10-10 in the conference would have us in for sure. One win in the BTT would be icing on the cake.
