God, this looks just like Gonzaga last year. They aren't gonna miss are they?

I have a theory that because we try to play with such tempo it gives other teams the opportunity to get into rhythm and hit shots they normally miss.

If we could get some stops we'd be fine. Even with the missed layups we're shooting well. I'm tired of teams going off on us with jumpers.

Their aggressiveness is giving us problems but we're hitting shots. I think we'll address it and settle in.

I'd be surprised if we take another beating like last year. Early afternoon basketball games often seem to have a strange feel to them. Hope Villanova is out of rhythm and iowa brings some of their january magic with them. I think we can beat these guys.

Oh, and iowa seems to be a 7 or 8/9 often meaning any upset would be a massive one. That just wouldn't be in their favor.

Charles Barkley tried to pick us vs temple then he almost fell over using a touchscreen then every one else told him to pick temple so he did.

I think miami is a better match up for us than Wichita state unless we got to play their c team again. I hope that matters.

Iowa's best is pretty much Villanova's best. We've seen that. I'm talking more in the traditional "we're a 7 seed and they're a 2 seed" sense.

The "T" giving a burst of energy to the team thing is overrated. T's are dumb because you give up free points for no reason.

When is the last time Iowa pulled out an upset in the tournament?

The trend of top 2 seed Villanova missing the sweet 16 constantly vs the trend of we're Iowa and good things never happen to us. I know how this one ends.

I initially hated this potential matchup. They are very good. Efficient on both ends but the more i think about it there's a lot i like. They force turnovers as a big part of their defense, we don't turn it over. We suck at allowing threes, at least lately, but they aren't a great shooting team...
