    Thoughts on Iowa vs. ISU

For her size, Crooks actually has pretty decent conditioning. I agree, though, that there needs to be strategy to make her run as much as possible. From what I can tell, it looks like their coaching staff has already anticipated that strategy, and have asked Brown and others to hustle back and...

    Iowa and The Portal.

I know several Purdue fans and one said that they hate to lose this guy. Apparently, was very well liked and respected. We haven't had a serious space-eater in quite a while. Definitely worth at least a look. https://247sports.com/player/jamarrion-harkless-46130601/college-292223/

    Reliaquest Bowl

Vandy is solid and very well coached. That said, I've got a bit of a good feeling about this game. Not sure why, just a gut feeling. Being his last game, I think Grownoski is going to be motivated to show that his passing struggles were uncharacteristic. Same with the WRs. I wouldn't be...

    Iowa and The Portal.

Count me as one who sees the LOS as the highest priority in the portal. In terms of the offensive line, there always seems to be one or two that make strides during the off-season and step up, but, even if that occurs, our depth would be highly questionable. The bigger need is the defensive...

    Notre Dame tantrum

This ^ That was my first reaction when I heard the story, and, frankly, I was a bit surprised that Freeman didn't see it the same way and use the circumstance to lecture his players on the importance of accepting and overcoming adversity. Whether someone is a ND fan or not, Freeman is a pretty...

    PSU and ISU schadenfreude

Pollard definitely can point to a record of success. Over the past five years or so, ISU probably has enjoyed what I predict will be the zenith of it's sports success across the major programs. ISU doesn't have the market and panache to sustain that level of success long-term. A natural...

    More Nebbie Dysfunction

Remember the name Darion Jones. We plucked him out of Omaha, and he has a seriously high ceiling. If you get a chance to watch any interviews with him I'd highly recommend it. He's refreshingly mature and well-spoken in addition to being a great athlete. Barring injury, he'll be a team captain...

"IF" this is indeed Kirk's swan song, who do you want?

That definitely was a failed experiment, but he remains well-respected and his players rave about his approach to teaching. Many coaches just fit better at the college level, and he may be one of them, though I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up back in the NFL as a DC.

Fry's Forecast Fizzled: KF Confirms He Will Be Back in '26.

Mildly surprised, but happy that he's staying.

    More Nebbie Dysfunction

There's essentially a zero chance Rhule turned them down. That job is his wet dream. It's much more likely that was told or sensed that he was not high on their list, then signed his extension.

"IF" this is indeed Kirk's swan song, who do you want?

A couple of other names I will throw in now that Sumrall and Silverfield are off the table: Andy Kotelnicki, OC, PSU. Very creative offensive mind with plenty of solid coaching experience along with broad midwestern recruiting ties. Matt Patricia, DC, OSU. Extensive experience, including NFL...

Looks like Sumrall is Florida bound.

That's a good addition to the list. Certainly a possibility.
