Woody has a Big Heart

Those free throws will decide games in the future......

I remember the MSU coach before Izzo, Judd Heathcote would have the players make ten free throws in a row before they could leave practice. I don't know how Eric Snow ever left......

Eric Snow had me in tears once I was laughing so hard at him shooting free throws. Once he shot it so far to the side that he hit the backboard and it never touched the rim. How can that good of a guard be that bad of afree throw shooter.

4 guys were a huge reason the Hawks won on Saturday night, IMO. Equal parts credit to McCabe, Woodbury, Oglesby and White from me.

Woodbury was certainly the reason for the Iowa win. G-W went on that huge run when Woody picked up his 2nd foul. And Iowa went on their run with him back in the game in the 2H.

McCabe and Josh's 3s were big, Zach's hustle sparked the entire team.

Both freshmen PGs struggled.

I certainly didn't mean to minimize the contributions of other players in that second half. McCabe and Oglesby were terrific. Marble was great.White was on fire.Basabi showed great effort. May made two nice passes to Oglesby.

In fact, everyone who played in the second half played with great emotion and intensity.

This game, if nothing else, proves something to this team: That they are capable of making a great rally and dominating a team if they give maximum effort. Some teams never learn that lesson. Maybe this team learned something from the victory. I know G-W is not a top 50 team, but it was an important lesson, nonetheless.

Really? Wow. Seems to me there were 3-4 kids who deserve alot more credit for the win vs Woodbury. Sure, he played decent. But the reason why we won? Cmon.

Does anyone know if Herb has the specifics on the actual size of his heart?
