No Iowa, but has ISU or UNI as a 13 seed. Iowa is considered next 4 out with Illinois.

8 Minnesota

12 Purdue

That's the early season prediction. Interesting to see how it plays out.

Nice to be in the mix. Will have to beat some of those teams to have a shot since ISU and UNI are the only non-conference opponents anywhere near the tourney bubble at least to start the season. Low RPI of the early schedule opponents will be a drag on Iowa's RPI all season long (many are in the 300's). Fortunately the committee is looking at a bit more than that number these days. Lunardi had not included Iowa in the conversation when he did this immediately post 2012 NCAA tourney, so he must think they are moving up. That's nice, and I guess what happens when you get through a few offseasons without four transfers.
