I am going to wait until he plays in a hawkeye uniform before i call him a hawkeye. People called Hubbard a Hawkeye also. * in no way am i comparing Mike Gessel to Hubbard

I just like the vibes you get from this team. Not just the quality of players, but the actual makeup of the team. Just sounds like Fran has the perfect guys for his system. Guys that are gym rats ... Guys that get along well together; guys that push one another ... Just nice to read because we have not necessarily had that teamwork in recent memory. These guys just sound like they click ... I like it. I like where Iowa basketball is headed ...

We've been waiting for quite some time to see this team win some games (getting close to a decade since a tourny birth. That's a big chunk of ones life). I hope we're heading for some good times.
