It's pretty much a given that the Nebraska game the day after Thanksgiving will be an 11:00 a.m. kickoff. Though it could be moved to 2:30 if it is for the division championship. Even then it is probably a long-shot.
230 os best but.night games are awesome...I HATE 11 am kicks...it means I either choose between.no sleep and ruin my saturday night or sleep and ruin my Friday.
Sleep is what Sunday is for wussy.230 os best but.night games are awesome...I HATE 11 am kicks...it means I either choose between.no sleep and ruin my saturday night or sleep and ruin my Friday.
FML- why the hell do u have to be an ******* like that? Yes, he clearly wants Iowa to suck. Dumba$$.... He is just an older dude that likes early kicks. Some of you tools ruin a thread by going right for the throat of people.
LOL, why's your butt hurt?
This is a thread about night games. Old dudes who ***** about it are the ones that ruin the threads, not someone trying to school the clown on why a program needs primetime games.
I can see that you're having a hard time wraping your 18 year old head around this. Why do people like you just jump on someone like that. You cant seem to have a conversation on this board anymore without someone being an assh0le and jumping all over you for having a different opinion. Your opinion would have been MUCH better recieved if you would just state your side and leave out the sh!thead comment. But instead, you can sit back and act all tough behind a screen name....
isu will never kick later than 2:30
I agree but would the level of drunkenness really be that much different for a night Iowa State game versus any other game? It's still a college football game in Iowa City with ample time for drinking.
The issue is with ISU coming to town they bring a lot of tailgaters with them, especially those who aren't even planning on attending the game. You usually don't get that much of a visiting contingency from other schools, and rarely are you going to find another fanbase that is going to come to town just to tailgate. Therefore the chances of "incidents" rises when ISU comes to town.
In '02 were there a lot on incidences or is it just a fear thing?
I have nothing to actually link to but I have heard stories that the '02 game was filled with a lot of drunkenness and debauchery before the game.
