Spartans Vs Ohio State: Excellent game: Right Now.....

Michigan State looking very good, had OSU on their heels but the Buckeyes are coming back, making a game of it. Two Heavyweights fighting it out on National TV, considered by some experts to be the game of the weekend.....

Both teams are the pride and joy of the Big Ten, The Spartans have the ability to make the Final Four, depending on seeding strength, and the variables......

Ohio State is fading a bit lately. They do need to get things together. They sometimes seem to depend on the three, and if it isn't falling, they are in trouble. They were lucky to win at Northwestern . I thought OSU was Final Four material, but am not so sure right now.....

Still an interesting game to watch. For some reason, I love to watch the Spartans, going all the way back to the Magic Johnson days. They had one of the best teams ever in college basketball, right up there with the Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Sam Perkins, North Carolina team.....

The time is coming when we will run with the Spartans, when Fran has his horses in the race.....

:)

Who complains more:

Izzo and Green or
Matta and Craft

It is a good game, Sullinger really needs to get a left hand, he would get a lot more foul shots against taller guys...he gets blocked way to easy, it is a testament to how good he is without the left hand. When I watched warm-ups at the OSU/UM game he practiced it a lot, but he doesn't utilize it at game time.

I am away from tv Jack... what is the score?

Watching these two teams go at it & after yesterday's game, you realize how far the Hawks have to improve to even come close to challenging for the title.

What the heck did Green get T'd up for? Official seemed a little whistle happy on that one.

Izzo might be more of a crybaby.....

Yeah, it would take a picture picture game to even have a chance. Zero turnovers, not a missed free throw, generous calls from the referees the entire game, and not a missed shot, and we could possibly play with them......

This year.....

It is Coming.....

Basketball is a funny game though, I don't think Iowa is as far away as some may believe. The talent gap begins to close next season and with the job Fran has done so far, coaching further closes the gap.

Against the top teams, Iowa is mismatched, but not for much longer.

Just think how good the Spartans would be if those players hadn't been kicked off the team & Devon Roe didn't have to give up the sport because of bad knees.

It will be an entirely different ball game next season. We will have the horses to run with the big boys. As game experience and familiarity with Fran's system accumulate, we will be a difficult team to beat.....
