Sounds like he'll be the new HC for the KC Chiefs. He really was talented. Here is how good he is now, in a short read. But where was he before KF brought him to Iowa City? I can't find the info. thanks

Joe Philbin is a great guy and I hope KC gets a class act, like Joe. He gave me tickets to an Iowa game while he was here, as I coached his son in Little League.

Before Iowa, he was at Harvard for 2 years; before that Northeastern for 2 years; before that Ohio for a year; before that he was Ken O'Keefe's OC at Alegheny College for 4 years; before that he was at US Merchant Marine Academy for a couple years; before that he was at Worchester Polytechnic Institute for 2 years; before that he was a GA at Tulane.

I thought the Philbin to GB was a done deal because I was told that in a factual manner from a Packer fan! He seemed pisst off enough that I believed him.
Now, I'm not so sure.

Hah ... like coming to Iowa City and helping the Hawkeyes out with our Freshman B team offense? Stinking Ken O'Keefe ... that Oklahoma St. game is still getting to me. You **** away time on 2 running plays on the start of the last drive before the half and then can't get into field goal range (and you have 2 time outs too!!!). You get a field goal there, that 4th quarter down by 7pts, turns into a down by 4pts.

All the Badger fans are screaming at Bielema for being a terrible game manager / clock manager. Iowa is 10x worse. I bet it would rank in the bottom 5% of college football for teams who score within two minutes before the half.

That's what Ferentz should do if he wants to keep his high school locker partner as offensive coordinator until either Ferentz or O'Keefe pulls a Norm Parker ... they should bring in Philbin, pick his brain on how to run an offense ... what has works up in Green Bay etc. and maybe see how much the Packers would charge to put together an instruction manual on how to run a 2-minute offense ... or better yet, how to even practice it during the week!!!

With it being election season, can we start the de-election campaign for O'Keefe 2012?
