The coolest thing about Coker, aside from trucking defenders and then running past them, is that he's a freaking astrophysics major.
!
Technically, I believe that Iowa only formally offers a physics major and an astronomy major. However, that doesn't mean that he won't go down the path of astrophysics.
Think he's double majoring in those 2 fields. I could be wrong though.
I think you and homer are correct...Iowa to my knowledge doesn't actually offer an "astrophysics" major. Astrophysics is a field you enter after majoring in those two disciplines.
My bad.

FWIW he's listed as an "astrophysics" major in his player bio.

Not that it's really important.
Andre Krimm must be proud.
Astrophysicists are kinda like astronomers who actually aren't afraid of math.
Astrophysicists are also kinda like relativists who decide to make their research more relevant ... especially seeing how much quality cosmological and astrophysical data is coming in these days.
And, technically speaking, you DON'T need to major in both physics and astronomy to become an astrophysicist. Rather, you just need to either get an astrophysics related position after college OR snag an astrophysics advisor in grad-school.
Andre does not eat raw meat, because Andre is a vegetarian.
