Yeah, but, it's not written in stone. He may commit early. In any case...it'll likely get done this month.

Taylor isn't tall ... however, I wouldn't read too much into the listed 40-time.

Coach Wilson has already seen Taylor first hand ... he knows how and where he might project. I'm not worried one bit.

Right, and he led Cass Tech in tackles in spite of having four star-Top 100, and UM commit, LB Jenkins-Stone on it. From what I've read he has the requisite Iowa ferocity, and football intelligence. He must have enough physical skills that they think he can be a good LB. A couple of years of Doylerization will likely remedy any physical deficits.

Is anyone else nervous about recruiting kids from Detroit? I know we need to consider each person as an individual, but the last two guys we got from Detroit were Dominique Douglas and Cedric Everson. We've gotten a few guys from the surrounding area, but none since those two from the heart of the city. Detroit is a very different place from Iowa City, so I'm sure it is a tough adjustment. Am I being overly paranoid here?

Yeah, and if as being said there's talent there in the next two classes that exceeds this one's, while still primarily a UM feeder school...that could be a good connection.

I think the presser starts at 11:00 our time but it is a large media day presser for the Detroit area athletes so it may not be until noon or so before the announcements are made.
