3 priority points for three games?

This is the second year in a row that mini-packs get the same number of points as a season holder who has paid for an entire season (and who may also be a donor). Can anyone please explain why these two groups are placed on equal footing? There ought to be some distinction.

Because they aren't going to penalize someone who wanted to buy the whole season but couldn't due to the high demand for season tickets?

I think the distinction is season ticket holders get tickets to all the games. I am sure someone that got denied season tickets and has to settle for a three game pack would be glad to switch.

Yes, let me know if you want to switch. Second year in a row I have to settle for mini package.

I dont feel bad for anybody having to "settle" for mini-packs. Should have tried getting them before last year.

Student tickets...gotta love being able to sit in a variety of seats for the cheapest price of all :D.

The reason why I never got tickets before was because I didn't attend the UofI and I didn't have the money to get season tickets, but as soon as I did, it just happened to be the most popular year. So not everyone's situations are the same.

That seemed to be a common situation last year. Weird.

We sell more tickets when we are supposedly one of the favorites for the B10 title?!??! No way!

Good Lord. Maybe a lot of those people still went to 2-3 games a year but bought them from other sources and then really wanted to see every game in a year in which we were picked to do really well. Is that really that hard to understand? Get off your "I am the only loyal Hawk fan" pedestal and realize it's the reality of season tickets to any team for any sport. Sometimes people can't shell out the money for season tickets every year but decide to splurge on a year in which they think could be great.

Priority points are easily bought. Having a season or two of 3 game package or full season, your priority points are really small anyway.

The problem is that many of the people who waited until the BIGGEST YEAR EVER! then came to the message boards and complained how unfair it was.

Well if they came to complain then I have no sympathy, but to lump everyone in that category is stupid. I can name many people who I know that aren't like that.
