Any Future Hawkeyes in U/A All American Game on ESPN this week?

I didn't know if Coe, or any other signees, potential recruits were playing. My smart phone is charging or I'd ask it.

Coe is playing in the Army All American game.

Cyrus K. will be playing in this game. Not sure where Iowa stands with Darius Jennings but don't think Iowa is in on him. Other than those two I don't believe anyone who Iowa is in on will be playing.

Ohio State has a lot of prospects and verbals playing in this game though.

Is he going to announce during the game?

He still has visits left. Going to Iowa, sounds like he may or may not go to USC on a visit. Sounds like a decision won't come until close to signing day.

Gun to my head? Alabama. I think Iowa is the only other real option though. Auburn is too late to the party, New Mexico can't be a real option. I think Iowa has a chance but the brother at Alabama may be too much to overcome.

I agree...sure would be nice for the hawks to land him tho. Is New Mexico on the list a joke? I've never understood that

How does a guy like that (Cyrus) not have used his visits until now?

Not that I hold anything against guys who take their visits in-season, but I can't fault a kid for holding off on his visits until after his season is over. Keeps his focus on where it needs to be for the moment. This is still really late though.

He's said before that the brother won't be a factor (I don't buy that 100%, it'd be tough to separate that out completely). Hopefully he's serious about that.

They were the first ones to start recruiting him, so I think they're still there as a ceremonial thing.

This is the answer. Perhaps it's even a deal where he's told the UNM coaches that he isn't coming there even though he's keeping them in his "schools of interest". That way Locksley can re-allocate their resources and still get a little positive pub. Not a bad tradeoff for being the first in on him, when you never had a shot at him in the first place.

I read an article on Cyrus and soccer was all he knew growing up so for his list to include New Mexico is understandable because I don't think he bought into only considering the flavor of the month schools. I think he is honestly looking at where he will fit in best and is not going strictly just going to go with the popular choice. Was impressed with the article I read about him. Sounds like he really has his head on straight.

He is one of top players so teams will wait for him. No reason for him to rush his visits and he chose not to do it during the season.
Based on what I have read, he seems to be very mature and will think things out for himself. I believe Iowa may be his last visit and that could be a positive sign but, I agree, that Alabama is more likely choice for him.

The reason for NM visit is his relationship with Locksley.
