he has made some great catches on some tough throws, but tom brady couldn't have thrown that ball yesterday any better.

McNutt had the most quiet 6 catches I can recall. I only recalled two with one including the TD. Then at the end of the game you look up & he has 6 for over 100 yrds.
Didn't go to the TE's too much yesterday. Indiana must have made a point to shut the TE's down or cover the middle.

He has an amazing amount of focus. When the ball is in the air its like he is only thinking about the ball. You see a lot of Wr(including DJK once in a while) thinking about running after the catch or you see them peeking at the DB. Some of his catches in the endzone are just crazy.

I totally agree with you. The "vicious" throws I'm talking about are the kind that only a Hawkeye like McNutt can catch..... Sorry if it sounded like I was knocking the throws...

DJK has several of those, too. I don't see Marvin making a catch like DJ did against Michigan last year. That's no knock on MM. That was a pass that I don't think anyone over 6'2" could catch.

he couldnt get open in the bowl game last year when DJK went out. It will be interesting to see how he does next year as the lead option.
