..as this team has quit on Brewster. Northern Illinois manhandled the goofers. Weber threw for big yards, but NIU's RB Spann went for over 200 yards rushing against a Big 10 defense?:rolleyes:

Be patient people, at this rate, Minny's new field will be christened Kinnick North...there will be plenty of seats available for those wanting to make the trek North.

What in their performance so far this year makes you think the goofers have a big 10 defense?

Can't wait to Christen the "new" Kinnick North with a Hawkeye Beatdown
 


One thing I do not relish is playing Minny with the gopher players fueled by the notion that they can save Brewsters job by beating Iowa.
But, they are probably not good enough to beat Iowa even with a psych edge.
The fact that the game is on Thanksgiving Saturday....how will it affect ticket scalping availability? Students will probably abandon ship to go home,will it spur a great migration north by Iowa fans if there is a Big Ten title at stake? Hope it is a 2:30 kickoff so if we decide to drive up early on saturday from my parents farm in NW Iowa, we dont have to get up in the middle of the nite.
