Iowa-Arizona Two Deeps Released

It's a legit question when the soon to be all time receiver in school history isn't listed as the starter his senior year in full health. If they mean nothing then why are they put out and why does Jon Miller make a thread about? I had curiosity and asked a question about it.

I wasn't trying to single you out as others always wonder the same thing, all I'm saying is once a game is over DJK will have been on the field more than Sandeman so I don't understand why people care if DJK is on the field for the 1st snap of the game.

I don't know how it was listed last week but DJK started for what it's worth.

I gotcha now. I don't really care who starts or what...I just thought it was odd and didn't know what the exact reasoning for it was.

Jewel getting more carries had much more to do with him needing the work and sitting ARob with a huge lead.

To your point, it is meaningless who starts.

Jewel had more carries, because A-Rob kept going the distance (or close to it). Heck, Jewel had 11 carries on his first drive, alone...He had more carries because he wasn't quite as successful, on a Y-P-C basis, as A-Rob.

Anyone know if the center job is won by Ferentz? I would guess that Gettis is going to be in a rotation situation too. Nolan Mc has played well. We will need to rotate this Saturday anyway. Can't have too many big uglies when the temp at game time is 95

Oh Ya! Iowa got the D line then some!

93 Clayborn, 58 Daniel
95 Klug, 54 Bigach
46 Ballard/ 93 Daniels, 87 Nardo
46 Ballard/ 91 Binns, 79 Alvis

Ballard is so good he is holding down two starting jobs.

The biggest thing for me is Tarp starting. I think his play and front 4 determine the outcome of this game. If the front 4 can get pressure, theoretically that makes everything easier for the back 7. And while I love Bruce Davis' effort, he just isn't as good as Tarp in coverage, which I think showed Sat. I think Tarp's overall athleticism against UA's passing game will be a huge key to Sat.'s outcome.

Looks like AC switched numbers this week. Maybe we are going to try to sneak him in the game without anybody noticing!
