I'm sure it's already been asked and answered before...but why is DJK always listed as the co-starter with Sanderman?
Maybe a little has to with DJK, to keep him motivated possibly (just a guess), my other thought is show a level of respect for Sandeman, a senior, who has been solid and had some really nice games.

It could have something to do with the fact that DJK is the #1 KR this year. Against EIU, when he took the opening kickoff, Sandeman was the wideout on the first play from scrimmage, so technically, Sandeman got the start. If DJK doesn't take the opening KO, I'm guessing he's lined up for the first snap instead of Sandeman.
Since it is looking more and more like the NFL is going to have a lock out season next year, I can't imagine RR or many Juniors declaring for the draft early.
People really need to stop worrying about who is starting and who isn't with these 2 deeps, they mean nothing, last week ARob was the starter but guess who had more carries? The WR position is the same thing.
I agree with the part about Sandeman.
I also said this about Nolan Mc and Gettis the second I heard NM was going to get the start against EIU. Just really hard to imagine anyone was going to move that kid out of a spot once he got his chance. That is another reason why I was so anxious to see who was going to get that start.
With respect to potential, I would put this line up against the 2004 line and perhaps next year's line might be able to compete with 2002, if RR doesn't jump.
NM just has next big thing at Iowa written all over him. Too bad for Gettis, but he is next man in if NM's youth should show or if there is an injury at any of the other line positions except center.

It could also mean that if Iowa decides to start in a 3 wide out set that Sandeman is the 3rd receiver. They can't really list him with a slash for Morse or Reisner in that situation.
It's a legit question when the soon to be all time receiver in school history isn't listed as the starter his senior year in full health. If they mean nothing then why are they put out and why does Jon Miller make a thread about? I had curiosity and asked a question about it.
