Transfer Portal Rumor - RB

was listening to one of the locked on podcasts from yesterday I believe and there are some grumblings that there may be some surprises entering the portal some being contributors. They didn’t name anyone but hinted at a Sophomore RB. Anyone hearing anything else?
 


Terrell Washington Jr. is a sophomore RB that has said he intends to enter the portal. Not sure if that's what you're hearing. Jackson Stratton is the other that has said he intends to enter the portal.

there was another in addition to Washington and this pod was just yesterday. They never gave names but felt it could be a contributor. The only other SO we have is Moulton which I don’t see him leaving but maybe he is getting a bag or wants to be closer to home. It was a couplepeoe on the pod that stayed the same thing so there is some smoke
 


It would certainly suck if it was someone that contributes. I would guess the days are over where you know who you're going to keep. Either they're not happy with playing time or they can get more money somewhere else.
 


I think Jaz could jump too.

Moulton would be a loss, but candidly, I don't think any of our RBs are superstars. We have a very good room, but no one that isn't replaceable. Honestly, I would not mind a little healthy attrition and perhaps Iowa takes a look for a homerun hitter in the portal.

I keep thinking Moulton is going to break a long one but he just doesn't quite have that breakaway speed. I also keep thinking he'll break 100 yards in a game, yesterday 95, almost did it. He did have some key yardage, that's for sure.

Several games Moulton has had really good YPC. Yesterday he only got 14 carries. You give him 20 and he is easily over 100. Looking at his structure, injury history, and how he runs I am not sure if he can sustain 20 carries a games over a full season. His break away is fine, like most, if they don’t get touched. He is at full speed very quickly. KJ last year would still be accelerating when breaking tackles or many he was never touched. Moulton had a big play against Maryland last year but was untouched
