They've played Youngstown State. You'll know a lot more about him about 1030 Saturday night.

I realize they didn't play a good team. But it wasn't the stats that got me. DiNardo pointed out little things, things that true freshman QB's don't typically do. Stepping into a throw even in the face of pressure, looking off DB's, etc. I don't know if I've ever seen a true freshman do those kinds of things, regardless of the opponent.

Well, JoePa didn't make the first true freshman to start for him @QB for nothing. We'll see how he does Saturday night.

I hope the kid beats down the Tide, but unlikely. If he does, it'll make our match-up all the more important, on a national scale.

I don't think you can read much with one game played. Tate Forcier for example, was the second coming after his first few games.......He is still a freshman, and will make many mistakes this year.
