iirc, he sat a couple of minutes in the Robert Morris game. Keep that dude in bubble wrap. The entire season hinges on him being healthy.

Really wish Trey would get a few minutes. I get he’s not fully caught up with the defense but McCollum said he’s absolutely fine on offense. Hope he doesn’t just get thrown in during the conference games.

Hausen averaging less than 10 a game for IA, when he was averaging close to 30 for Kstate is a good sign that Iowa has a decent roster.

We haven't seen a lot of this team yet but if I had a vote I'd be playing Hausen more and Howard less. He spreads the half court offense out. It provides way more room for Stirtz to go to work off the pick and rolls. Howard doesn't seem to be that same kind of threat so the D multiple times helped off of him. I suspect we'll see a ton of that going forward. Stirtz still makes the right decision 98% of the time but it'd be nice if some of those times end up in 3 point makes.

My guess is we aren't going to see him this yr. If he's not playing in 30 pt blowouts now then the decision to RS him has already been made. Unless there's some unforeseen injuries or who knows what I wouldn't look for Trey to play this yr. I think Bens going to be tightening his rotation up more if anything

He's friends with 2/3 of the state of IA. Namedrops 15-20 people that no one has ever heard of every night.

Sometimes it seems like he's talking just to me when he does that. He would be such an awesome dude to get to have a conversation with. I'm not sure how a guy like him would go over nationally but there's nobody more perfect to do Iowa games then him.

I know I'll get tons of hate on here, but I have a hard time listening to Jess. Loved him as a player and an ambassador for the Hawks, but he's not my cup of tea on the Iowa broadcasts. He's better when it's not an Iowa game, in my opinion.

Keeping an eye on Fran’s Penn team…lets just say they are scoring a lot of points, and giving up a lot of points. Another indicator that they couldn’t run it back with him for a 16th year.

He was promised playing time? I wasn't aware of that. I still think he can gain valuable experience even if he redshirts. The kid is still 17 years old and probably needs some time in the weight room too.

I would bet that there is a good amount of communication with this kid as to where he currently stands and what the future will look like. Just guessing but that is probably one of BMC's strengths as a coach.
